Hannah Sharp is the Jacksonville Fair's Intern for the summer of 2019! While interning at the Jacksonville Fair, Hannah is working alongside our Vice President of Marketing, Gayle Hart. With Gayle's permission, we stole Hannah away for a bit to chat about school, life, her hopes & dreams, and why she may be listening to a certain boy band right now that she really wishes we wouldn't hold against her.

Where are you from?
I'm from Atlanta, Georgia.

What college do you attend?
University of North Florida

Why did you choose UNF?
I chose UNF because I knew it was a great school and it was close to where I lived and I didn’t want to move away.

When will you graduate?
Summer of 2019

What is your major?
Public Relations

So you're majoring in Public Relations, why? What drew you to it?
It took me quite a while to figure out what I wanted my major to be, but ultimately I chose the major that played on my two biggest strengths: writing and talking, which has paid off so far. I absolutely love PR and everything that has to do with PR, marketing and event planning and I am hoping that’s what I’ll be able to do throughout my professional career.

What are your goals after graduation?

My goals after graduation are to find a job that incorporates everything I’ve learned in college and I really hope to find the right place for me to build a great career.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

I have one sister and she’s 18 years old.

Do you have any pets?

I have two. A cat and a dog.

What are their names?

My cat's name is Scarlett and my dog's name is Stella.

Can Scarlett or Stella do any special tricks?

No tricks.

What’s the last song you listened to?

The last song I listened to was 'Burnin’ Up' by The Jonas Brothers. LOL. Don’t make fun of me.

Favorite television show or book right now?

Favorite TV show right now is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

What’s your go-to social media channel?

My go-to social media platform is typically Instagram, but I am a heavy Facebook and Snapchat user as well.

What question did you hope I would have asked you, but didn’t?

I wished you had asked what my favorite hobby is.
