NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED! Welcome to the annual "Red & Pink Hatter's Contest" at the 2010 Greater Jacksonville Fair. Make your hats, as flamboyant, crazy or fanciful as possible!!! The bigger the better! This contest is open to hatters from Duval, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Nassau or St. Johns Counties and its one competition where appearances do count!!. So ladies put your "Designer Hats" on and get ready to have fun, fun, fun!!!
Win mad money and bragging right too!!! Last year's entries were unbelievable, so this year we've added class # 2
for those who have never won! YOU MAY ENTER AS MANY HATS AS YOU WANT, BUT ONLY ONE HAT PER APPLICATION.
Class # 1: This class is open to anyone, if you have or have not won before. Prizes will be awarded in (4) categories!

Ladies, this contest continues to grow each year as a fair favorite and it is so easy !!! Just bring your hat or hats, to to the back of Exhibit Hall “A”, on Sunday, Oct 31st, from 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Someone will be there to assist you. Entries will be judged during the fair and stay on exhibit until the fair ends on Sunday, November 14th. The Fair Favorite ($100 prize) will be awaraded to the entry receving the most votes from opening day until 8:00 p.m., Friday night, Nov. 12th. If you have a hat stand please bring it with you otherwise hats will be displayed on tables. Entries may be picked up beginning at 8:00 pm, Sunday, Nov. 14th, through noon Monday, Nov. 15th.
