Create a sensational and flavorful salad in the new “Olive Lovers” Salad Challenge from Lindsay Olives. This recipe contest is about “tantalizing taste” and a “creative combination of ingredients.” Feature two or more varieties of Lindsay Olives in your entry - the more the better! Use additional items such as lettuce, beans, rice, cheese, other fruits or vegetables! Your entry can be a vegetarian’s dream or include meat, poultry or fish. No limits! Awards await the best dishes!

Creative Ingredient Combination (30%); Tantalizing Taste (30%); Ease of Preparation (25%); Visual Appeal (15%)

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Create a salad of any type or style and use two or more different types of Lindsay Brand Olives, any variety. We welcome innovative themes ranging from light summer creations to fall comfort foods; from sides to main dish salads.
• Deliver your prepared entry to the fair with a matching, typed recipe including specific recipe ingredients and amounts, followed by clear directions. Include your Lindsay Olive cans, jars, labels, UPC codes or receipts with your entry. Photocopies are allowed.
• Any age contestant is welcome to enter unless fair guidelines do not allow. Only one set of prizes will be awarded per fair.
• This competition is for home cooks, not professional chefs. Entries from persons earning a significant portion of their income from cooking may be disqualified.
• Each fair selects their judges for this competition. Their decisions are final.
• All recipes entered become the property of Lindsay Olives. By participating, contestants agree that Lindsay Olives may edit, adapt, copyright, publish and use any or all of the recipes entered. They may also use contestant names and photos for publicity, promotion, or advertising without compensation.
• Employees of Lindsay Olives, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, and their families are not eligible to enter.
• Taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winner. This contest is void where prohibited or otherwise regulated by law.
