THE HONEY SHOW

Drop-Off Time: Sunday, October 30th, from 10:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Pick-up Time: Sunday, November 13th, from 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: Greater Jacksonville Fairgrounds - Exhibit Hall "A"
Residents of Duval County or members of the Jacksonville Beekeepers Association are encouraged to participate inthe
Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair Honey Show. Entry is free. First, second and third place winners will be recognized
for each class. A “Best of Show” will be selected from the first place winners. It is important that you read all of the following
rules regarding the honey show. Entries can be disqualified for failure to adhere to any of the following requirements.
General Rules:
- The Greater Jacksonville Fair reserves the right to limit the number of entries on a first-come, first-admitted basis.
- There are three show classes: extracted honey class 1.Light, 2. Amber, 3. Dark. Participants may enter in any or all classes, but may only enter once per class.
- All honey entries must have been produced by submitter in the last 12 months.
- Entries for honey must be presented singly. Submit the extracted honey in standard 1 lb. queenline containers, either glass or plastic.

- Do NOT label products in any way; an identifying code sticker will be assigned to your entry at registration.
- Judging criteria are selected at the discretion of the judge. All decisions by the judge are final.
Awards
Ribbons will be awarded in each class, plus "Best of Show Award"
1st Place - Blue Ribbon
2nd Place - Red Ribbon
3rd Place - White Ribbon
"Best in Show" - Rosette
