4-H CONSUMER CHOICES
JUDGING CONTEST

Saturday, November 5th

Registration: 3:30 P.M.  *  Contest: 4:00 P.M.    
Location: Exhibit Hall "A"

NEW: Parking in the Livestock Lot #2 is strictly prohibited unless authorized by the fair office with a Lot #2 parking

           pass.  Vehicles found to be parked without authorization WILL BE TOWED!!!

 

At the conclusion of this contest, the contest supervisor will have a form that must be completed by the individual winners. This form will require their name, address and SS#.  A Winner who fails to supply their social security number will forfeit all premium money for this contest.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

  1. A Judging Team shall consist of four (4) bona fide 4-H Club members, ages 8-18. It is strongly recommended that all contestants wear appropriate 4-H attire.
  2. Junior, Intermediate and Senior Division Contests will be separate. Junior Team members will be ages 8-10 as of September 1st of the current year.  Intermediate Teams will be 11-13 as of September 1st of the current year. Senior Teams will be ages 14-18 as of  September 1st of the current year.   Individuals not on a team will judge for practice.
  3. Oral reasons will be given on one class. Two minutes will be allowed for giving oral reasons.
  4. You must judge on a team to qualify for individual awards. Those not on a team may judge but will not qualify for any

      awards.

  1. Prize money will be mailed.

4-H TEAM AWARDS

1st Place will receive an Award
2nd thru 5th Place Teams will receive ribbons
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
1st place - $20.00;  *  2nd Place - $15.00  *  3rd Place - $10.00
