Parking in the Livestock Lot #2 is strictly prohibited unless authorized by the fair office with a Lot #2 parking

pass.  Vehicles found to be parked without authorization WILL BE TOWED!!!

RULES AND REGULATIONS

TO ENTER: Click on the above link for an entry form.  Type or print your name, address, SSN and entry information

then print the form and mail it along with the required *entry fee or fees, $1.00 per dozen eggs entered,  to the

Jacksonville Fairgrounds, 510 Fairgrounds Place, Jacksonville, FL 32202.  *Entry fees are non-refundable and can

be paid by check, money order or charge.  Only completed forms with required entry fees will be accepted. .

JUDGING: Wednesday, November 6th.  All eligible entries will be transported to the "DIXIE" Egg Company facility where

they will be candled and judged.  The Modified Danish System of judging will be used.

DISPLAY:   Eggs will be transported back to the fairgrounds to be displayed for the remainder of the fair no later than

Friday evening, November 8th. Eggs become the property of the show.

ELIGIBILITY: All eggs must be chicken eggs. There shall be no identification marks on the eggs. Eggs will be shown in

display cartons with the name and address of the exhibitor on the carton. There will be an extra large and a large class for

white and also for brown eggs.  Exhibitors are limited to two entries.

LARGE EGGS: Shall average not less than 24 ounces per dozen.  Eggs weighing less than 23 ounces per dozen shall be

included in this class. 

EXTRA LARGE EGGS:  Shall average not less than 27 ounces per dozen. Eggs weighing less than 26 ounces per dozen

shall not be included in this class. A  dozen eggs of minimum average weight shall receive as many points as maximum

weight, other things being equal.
